Research in this line seeks to develop tools that allow a more precise characterisation of the disease and better patient stratification.
To this end, we study tissue, blood and urine biomarkers with potential diagnostic, prognostic and predictive value, and integrate multi-omics approaches, advanced molecular analyses, artificial intelligence and imaging techniques to obtain a comprehensive view of tumour biology.
We also develop predictive models that support clinical decision-making and individualised treatment selection. This line promotes the adoption of innovative technologies in clinical practice, fostering more precise, efficient and patient-centred medicine.
The ultimate goal is to accelerate the translation of biological findings into clinical applications that improve health outcomes and optimise therapeutic management.
